The Communications, Marketing and External Relations Office at University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business feature stories throughout the year on the college website, in newsletters and print pieces. The stories highlight business students, faculty, alumni and their accomplishments and experiences in and outside of the classroom.
“It’s amazing to write and share these stories about our Nebraska Business community because our students, faculty, staff and alumni work hard to create a better future. Besides providing information, the stories also allow people to get to know one another better. They help build and strengthen relationships both in and outside of our college,” said Sheri Irwin-Gish, executive director of communications, marketing and external relations.
More than 100 stories written each semester resonate with readers for different reasons. Some stories include prestigious awards or high achievement while others highlight ways students individualized their college experience or how alumni apply what they learned after graduation.
