Kadina Koonce is the Assistant Director of Career Development and Planning in the Business Career Center. In her role she oversees curriculum development for BSAD 222 which helps students explore their career options, create a professional resume, and network with professionals. As a prior academic advisor for undeclared and pre-professional students, Kadina enjoys thinking creatively about how to explore job and career opportunities, as well as helping others speak to their strengths and experiences. She takes pride in being a researcher of resources and recognizing the uniqueness of all experiences and the tools needed to create rather than wait for future opportunities.

Beyond her immediate role in the College of Business she has presented at various conferences both regionally and nationally on technology integration for learning, workshop development, Clifton Strengths, and professional career development. Leading with Woo, learner and communication as top strengths, she thrives in environments to engage and share information with diverse audiences.

The Business Career Center takes appointments in-person and virtually, which can be scheduled through Student Success Hub.

You can also stop by 141 HLH from 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday to check in for a drop-in session. To schedule an appointment directly with me, click here https://go.unl.edu/kadinakoonce
