The Center for Entrepreneurship connects students with the resources needed to create and manage successful businesses. You can study entrepreneurship as an option in the management major or as a minor, which is open to all UNL students. Through the center's events, you can innovate, collaborate and compete.
Center for Sales Excellence
Learn how you can sell yourself to employers, pitch your ideas and influence others. The center offers all UNL students the opportunity to earn a certificate and advance certificate in professional selling.
Clifton Strengths Institute
Through one-on-one coaching and taking the Investing in Strengths (BSAD 111) course, you are guided in your personal, professional and leadership development through the use and application of strengths-based sciences, The institute also offers the Clifton Builders program, where you can apply to be a part of a cohort of fellow builders to take classes, learn about leadership, engagement and entrepreneurship.
Lincoln Center for Economic Education
More than ever before, knowledge of basic economics is a prerequisite for a productive and healthy economy. Economic education helps people understand and apply economic issues to improve personal decision making. It also gives people a greater understanding of major economic issues that confront our nation.
Nebraska Council on Economic Education
Throughout five centers for economic education, the council provides resources for professional development, graduate education, workshops, classroom activities and academic competitions for teachers and students in K-12 and post-secondary institutions. In Nebraska, family businesses play a significant role in our economy. Thanks to the Abel family, the Center for Entrepreneurship offers education and events dedicated specifically to family business to support students preparing to enter or contribute to family business after college.

Bureau of Business Research
The Bureau of Business Research provides relevant information and insightful data on economic conditions in Nebraska, the Great Plains and the nation as a service to individuals and businesses in the state.
Central Plains Federal Statistical Research Data Center
The RDC serves as a point of access to restricted-use versions of important datasets maintained by the U.S. Census Bureau and other federal agencies. The center hosts a secure computing lab where qualified researchers with approved projects can conduct research using restricted-use microdata.
Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance
The Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance connects academic disciplines related to law, business and agriculture to support interdisciplinary research, increase public understanding of these issues and prepare students for leadership roles in international trade and finance.
