This award will honor an organization who has gone above and beyond to collaborate with the Business Career Center in their commitment to students’ career development at the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln through job and internship recruitment programs, career events, involvement in the PrEP courses, and/or additional efforts in the last year.

- Provide direct opportunities for students to build relationships with your organization
- Recruit College of Business students for jobs and/or internships
- Has not received award in prior 5 years

- First choice of Employer in Residence for fall and spring semester during the upcoming year
- Recognized at Employer Partners Day

Faculty/staff partnerships help us to succeed in our mission to create confident, professional, and connected students for lifelong career success.

Intern of the Year
The Intern of the Year Award honors a student who embodies the Business Career Center’s values of developing confident, professional, and connected business students for lifelong career success. This award recognizes a student's exceptional internship experience and the impact of a Nebraska Business education. We're proud to recognize the deep investment employers make in our students' success.

Criteria:
- Student demonstrates excellent personal and professional growth during their internship
- Student made a significant contribution to their internship organization
- Student utilizes knowledge and concepts learned in their College of Business coursework
- Exhibits the Business Career Center’s mission statement of having developed into a confident, professional, and connected business student
Student Eligibility:
- Student is currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree through the UNL College of Business, or is a recent graduate of the College of Business
- Interned for the nominating organization at any time within:
- Summer 2023 – Spring 2024
