Thank you for your interest in Employer in Residence!

Registration for Spring begins in November; registration for Fall begins in June. There is one Employer in Residence each day, Monday through Friday. Organizations can participate only once per semester. Dates are on a first come first reserved basis.

Engagement With Nebraska Business Students, Faculty and Staff

Information Booth – Create brand recognition and an opportunity to share information about your organization, industry and positions.

  • Students stop by in between classes. (MWF classes run 50 minutes, MW classes run 75 minutes, TR classes run 75 minutes).
  • Your booth will be in the South Lobby between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Giveaways, interactive games, drawings, position descriptions, brochures and your active engagement help attract students to your booth.

Employer in Residence is marketed through:

  • Business Career Center's weekly student newsletter sent on Fridays to all CoB students
  • Digital signage throughout Hawks Hall
  • College of Business's Instagram account, @NebraskaBiz
  • Business Career Center's Employer in Residence webpage
  • Career courses through the Professional Enhancement Program (PrEP)
  • Weekly emails to all College of Business faculty and staff

Logistics

Parking

  • There is one parking spot designated for the Employer in Residence, located east of the northeast corner of Hawks Hall. One employer may park at the sign which reads "College of Business Guest Only" and has a yellow pole.
  • After you park, enter the building through the northeast doors and turn left. Check in at the Business Career Center (HLH 141) to pick up your parking permit which must be displayed in your vehicle to avoid being towed.
  • Additional parking—The closest garages to the College of Business are:
    • 14th and Avery Garage located at 1111 N. 14th Street
    • Stadium Garage located at 625 Stadium Drive
  • The College of Business Career Center does not validate parking. More information can be found on the Parking and Transit Services website.
