Dr. Ayse Kilic is a leading expert in remote sensing of water consumption (evapotranspiration) using satellite imagery. She is also an expert in the use of geographical information systems in water resources and natural resources. She chairs a national technical task committee for the American Society of Civil Engineers related to remote sensing of evapotranspiration and is a member of the national OpenET development team.
