Welcome!
The Computational Microfluidics and Biomechanics Laboratory, led by Prof. Nitesh Nama, is an interdisciplinary research group engaged in developing advanced computational capabilities for applications in biomechanics and microfluidics.
We leverage methods from fluid-solid dynamics, applied mathematics, and continuum mechanics to study a variety of interesting phenomena across biofluid dynamics, microscale flow, transport physics, nonlinear mechanics, and cardiovascular biomechanics.
Our current research interests include
- Microscale Flow Physics
- Acoustic Micro-Robotic Systems
- Fluid-Structure Interaction
- Cardiovascular Biomechanics and Mass Transport
