Enrollment Deadline
Youth interested in exhibiting at their county fair or the Nebraska State Fair must complete enrollment by June 15.
Premier Science Award
All exhibits are eligible!
The Premier Science Award encourages youth to identify science skills they have used in completing their 4-H projects!
The Premier Science Award is open to any 4-H member with at least one static entered at State Fair. Exhibitors may apply with one exhibit from any project area/department.
To apply, identify which exhibit you will enter and complete the award application below by noon CT on Monday, August 21.
All applicants will be recognized and will be eligible for a Premier 4-H Science Top exhibitor award, including a cash award sponsored by the Nebraska 4-H Foundation.
Static Exhibit Entry
All static exhibits will be entered by county Extension staff.
Static Exhibit Release
All static exhibits will be released to the county Extension staff unless the proper documentation has been submitted.
Exhibitors or families wishing to pick up their own static exhibits from the Nebraska State Fair must complete an Exhibit Hall Release form and submit it to their local Extension office before August 20. The Exhibit Hall Release form must be obtained from your local Extension office. Proper paperwork must be signed by the exhibitor/family and county Extension staff. This form gives non-Extension personnel permission to pick up items after the fair. The designated person listed on the form will be responsible for picking up the item(s).
Exhibitors who have correctly completed and submitted release forms may pick up their exhibit(s) on the final Monday of the State Fair from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. or the Tuesday after the State Fair from 8:00 a.m.-noon. Exhibits must be checked out before being removed from the exhibit hall. The person picking up the exhibit must be ready to sign for the exhibit and show their identification.
