You don't need to worry about how to ask for the item; we'll figure out the best way to deliver it to you. Check out all the options we have for getting you what you need:

  • If we don't have it, we'll find out who does.
    • We can get items from one of the Nebraska Libraries (UNL, UNO, UNK, UNMC),
    • We can request items from a partner Library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
  • Just need a chapter two from a book? We will scan it and send you a digital copy.
  • Has an instructor reserved an item for use in their class?

Request Delivery of an Item we Own

  1. 1: Request the Item through the 'Delivery' Option

    Submit a Request Delivery through the catalog.

  2. 2: If UNL Libraries has the Item

    We will send an email letting you know when you can pick up the item. 

  3. 3. If it's discovered we don't hold the item but UNO, UNMC or UNL has the item

    We will put in a request for the item, and they send it to us. When the item arrives, we will send an email notifying you when you can pickup the item.
