Requesting Materials

You don't need to worry about how to ask for the item; we'll figure out the best way to deliver it to you. Check out all the options we have for getting you what you need:

  • If we don't have it, we'll find out who does.
    • We can get items from one of the Nebraska Libraries (UNL, UNO, UNK, UNMC),
    • We can request items from a partner Library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
  • Just need a chapter two from a book? We will scan it and send you a digital copy.
  • Has an instructor reserved an item for use in their class?

Getting Items from other Nebraska System Libraries (UNO, UNK, UNMC)

  1. Request the Item through the 'Request'

    Submit a request through the catalog.

  2. If it's discovered the item is not available through UNL,

    we will check one of the other nebraska system libraries.

  3. If it's discovered in another Library

    We put in a request for the item, and they send it to us.
