General Overview
The global healthcare systems have been significantly impacted by the novel COVID-19 pandemic. These impacts are best understood by the regional responses made in hospitals by their incident commanders, like opening and closing wards, changing screening protocols, using temporary treatment spaces, reducing elective procedures, etc. We are investigating what decisions hospitals made in different places across Nebraska to understand these decisions better.
Eligibility criteria (phase 1 - interviews)
- Incident commanders: If you make decisions or have direct knowledge about the decisions that were made for your hospital operations during surge events.
- If you are 19 years old and above
- Incident commanders of any color/sex/race are eligible.
Eligibility criteria (phase 2 - operations data)
- Participated in Phase 1
- Additional information will be added partway through Phase 1 of the study
