Representation on the Boyd County Extension Board (according to the Boyd County Extension Bylaws) is composed of six (6) registered voters of the county appointed by the Boyd County Supervisors. Each member on the board is appointed for a 3 year term which begin on January 1. Each member is then eligible for a second consecutive term of 3 years. No person shall serve more than two consecutive terms. Terms end December of the year listed. In order that some continuity within the Extension Board is preserved, staggered appointments will be used.
Representation is as follows: Naper Area - 1 representative; Butte Area - 2 representatives; Spencer Area - 2 representatives; and Lynch Area - 1 representative.
