UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT ASSISTANT

My name is Nyanhial Pal. I am a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Child, Youth & Family Studies, and Human Rights & Humanitarian Affairs. I work at MERC as an undergraduate project assistant. My goal is to gain more experience in data analytics and mixed-method research techniques. In the future, I hope to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology to further my research in multicultural factors, ethnic identity, intergenerational trauma, and acculturation, and ultimately to serve immigrants, refugees, and first-generation American young adults.

In my free time, I love listening to music or podcasts, reading books, writing poetry, and creating art.
