Borrowed items, including interlibrary loan (ILL), need to be returned to any ASKus desk or book return bin to be processed as 'returned'.
- Please return items in the same condition as when they were borrowed.
Libraries materials are state property. Theft or vandalism is considered a criminal offense. Fees will be assessed for damage such as torn pages, highlighting, water or pet damage, or placing post-it notes as markers. - Check your Libraries accounts for item due dates to be able to return or renew them on time.
- Libraries have extended loan times and removed many fees, but be mindful of when fines and fees start to apply.
Course Reserve items and Loanable Technology equipment need to be returned to the same ASKus desk they were checked out from.
Libraries Locations
Most materials may be returned to any one of our University Libraries listed below:
Checked out materials left on tables, bookcases, etc are not considered as 'returned', resulting in possible fines and fees until located.
Return Bins
Book return bins are located at:
- Love and Architecture (inside library and outside bins)
- Dinsdale Family Learning Commons (inside library and drive-up outside bin)
- Music (outside bin)
- Math (inside building)
Items returned to outside bins after hours are checked in the next business day. Late fees apply.
Returning Course Reserve Materials
Reserve materials must be returned to the same ASKus location they were checked out from.
- Love Library South, 1st floor lobby
- Dinsdale Family Learning Commons, Lower Level
Returning Loanable Equipment
Equipment and accessories checked out should be returned to the ASKus & Loanable Technology desk located in the Adele Hall Learning Commons.
